Rules

Scoring:
Games to 21 (win by 2)
Rally scoring is used until a team reaches 18 points.
Once a team reaches 18 points, that team's score “freezes” until they score on their own serve.

Dream Crusher Tiebreaker (Singles Tiebreaker)
If a Match ends 3-3 in total Games, a Dream Crusher tiebreaker (similar to MLP’s DreamBreaker) determines the winner.
Tiebreaker Format: Game to 21 (win by 2) using rally scoring.
Teams must score off their serve after reaching 18 points
Each team rotates players every 4 points.
The “home” team selects its first player, then the “away” team selects, and so on, until all players have a spot in the rotation.

Team Composition & Substitutions:
Each team has 2 men and 2 women.
Teams can sign up together or register in their appropriate level and get placed on a team with others doing the same.
Players must play with all teammates in mixed doubles (ensuring each mixed pairing occurs once).
No mid-game substitutions unless due to injury.

Game Play Rules:
Rally Scoring
A point is scored on every rally, except once either team reaches 18
After reaching 18 points, teams must score on their serve.
Switching Ends
Teams switch sides when one team reaches 11 points.
Serving & Rotation
Serve from the right side when your team’s total score is even, left side when odd.

Timeouts & Challenges:
Each team may take one timeout per game (60 seconds).
Coaching is allowed between points, provided it does not delay play.
No video challenges; players may briefly discuss close calls with the event referee if available.

Advancing & Championship:
Each division starts with 4 teams.
Winners advance in a knockout (or bracket) format.
The final winners of each division face off in a Championship Round.

Equipment & Officiating:
Official Ball: Franklin X-40.
Players make their own line calls; an event referee may assist in disputes if present.

Event Modifications:
The Event Director reserves the right to adjust the format, including the number of games, due to time constraints, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
