The divisions consist of the combined DUPR ratings of the playing partners.
EXAMPLES:
* If player number 1 has a DUPR rating of 3.226 and player number 2 has a DUPR rating of 3.512 your combined rating is 6.737. Your division is COED DOUBLES 7.0 and under.
** If player number 1 has a DUPR rating of 4.226 and player number 2 has a DUPR rating of 4.51 your combined rating is 8.736. Your division is COED DOUBLES 9.0 and under.
PLEASE NOTE:
FOR6.0 AND UNDER - MAX DUPR RATING OF ANY PARTICIPANT IS 3.2
FOR 7.0 AND UNDER - MAX DUPR RATING OF ANY PARTICIPANT IS 3.6
FOR 8.0 AND UNDER - MAX DUPR RATING OF ANY PARTICIPANT IS 4.5
FOR 9.0 AND UNDER - MAX DUPR RATING OF ANY PARTICIPANT IS 5.5

Specific details are listed below:
- Entry Fee: $37.50/player. $32.50 Focus Pickleball members
- All Events will be round robin format first to 15 (win by 2 points).
- Playoff round first to 15 (win by 2 points).
- Finals matches for Gold/Silver will be best out of 3 games to 11 (win by 2). and Bronze first to 15 (win by 2 points).
- Players are guaranteed three games.
- Prizes will be awarded to gold, silver and bronze for each event.
- Free Sausage Sizzle for all players
Rules
Once a doubles team registers for the Sunrise Smash event, their ratings are “locked” and their DUPR increasing or decreasing will not impact the team’s aggregate or division placement.
To sign up for the Sunset Smash event, a DUPR account is required (https://dashboard.dupr.com/signup) at the time of registration. Not rated players can play; however, their estimated rating will be verified by the tournament director.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Refunds will be provided no questions asked up to the close of registration (minus Stripe fees).
After registration closes provision of medical certificate will ensure a full refund minus the transaction and service charges.
General withdrawal after the close of registration will result in a $20 administration fee being retained by Focus Pickleball.
Once draws and times are published (3 days prior to tournament commencing), NO refund will be given, except when a medical certificate can be provided.
