Description

Whether you bring years of experience or youthful energy, this Split Age Tournament is for you! Bring your A-game, a partner of a different age (one above 50 years and one below 50 years), and let's make some memories. Friday's family-friendly event is open to everyone aged 14 and older—there is no age-based team requirement. If you are not able to find a partner, you can still sign up individually and we’ll do our best to match you with someone to play with.

DETAILS: Pair up with your mom, dad, son or daughter! Must be 14 and older. IMPORTANT: This is an ALL LEVELS gender family-friendly event, please be mindful of this. We want everyone to enjoy playing together and have fun. Unsportsmanlike behavior such as targeting will not be tolerated.

Rules

Registration cost breakdown: 1st event $70 (Open Division $90), 2nd event $50 (Open Division $70), 3rd event $30.

Each event will be a round robin format with games to 15, win by 2, followed by a single elimination bracket. Gold and Bronze matches played out; Bronze is to 15, Gold is 2 out of 3 to 11.

Open Divisions: Prize money will be awarded to the top two teams in each of the three Open Divisions as a percentage of the pot, which is dependent on the total # of participants, ($30 entered into the pot per person). 1st place 65%, 2nd place 35%.

Matches on Saturday and Sunday will be recorded into DUPR. Family-friendly event on Friday will not go in to DUPR.

We will use the Diadem Power Pickleball. All courts are surfaced with the Acrytech CushionX system.

Registration closes on Thursday, August 7th. No refunds after Friday, August 8th.
