Are you 50 or better and ready to show the world (or at least your friends) that you’ve still got game? Join the Silver Slammers 50+ Golden Pickleball League – a 6-week battle of skill, strategy, and superior hydration techniques! 💦
Join our version of 🔥 AARP – Absolutely Addicted to Rec Play games and let's have some fun!
League Details:
📅 When: Wednesdays at 10:00 AM (because I like to be home for lunch and a nap)
📆 Dates: May 14th – June 18th
⏳ Sign-Up Deadline: May 7th
💲 Cost: $25 Registration Fee ( Non-Members must pay guest fee each week)
How It Works:
🏓 Climb the Court Like a Champ! Each week, you’ll rotate courts based on your total points, battling for the coveted top court spot by the end of the league.
Week 1: We’ll gently place you on a starting court (no shoving).
Each week after: You’ll play with different partners per round. Win, move up a court. Lose move down a court for the next week.
Four or Five rounds per court. Everyone gets three or four matches and a break to chat, stretch, or discuss the latest pickleball news.
DUPR Ranking (or Lack Thereof)
📊 We’ll use DUPR scores to initially seed players, but don’t worry if you don’t have one! We’ll place you based on your skills and best guesses. (League results will NOT be reported to DUPR, so your secret is safe with us!)

Rules

Format:
>Up-and-down-the-court play! Players will rotate courts each week based on wins and points, aiming to climb to (and stay on) the top court by the end of the league.
>After the first week, where we will situate everyone on the appropriate courts, there will be five people per court. Everyone will play one match with each person on the court and, based on the results, players will move up and down courts week to week.
>There will be four or five rounds on each court, where everyone will get three or four matches as well as a break.
