Description

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is thrilled to announce its First Annual Pickleball Tournament at The William H Kerdyk Sr. Biltmore Tennis Center in Coral Gables! 20 Courts, directed by Pickleball Management Group (PMG).

Over $20,000 in potential cash and prizes up for grabs! Prize money will be awarded to EVERY division. **If you are new to the game and do not have a rating, no worries. Enter one of the 3.0 and under divisions**

Additional Information
This event will host several sponsors, vendors, food, raffles, a silent auction, goodie bag giveaways, and much more. Spectators are encouraged to come and watch and make a small $5 contribution towards Ronald McDonald House before entry.

You can also enter a raffle to win some of our amazing Selkirk swag. $5 per ticket. Buy 2 get 1 free! Each ticket also enters you into our mini game using Enhance Pickleball’s DinkMaster. Whoever can keep the ball up the longest will win a brand new Selkirk paddle!

If you are playing later in the day, we encourage you to stop by early and check out the party! Raffles, prizes, games, activities, and more will be going on all day but inventory as well as vendor time on site will be limited.

Rules

Pool Play- All teams in their pool play each other.
1. One game is played against each team in your pool to 11 points, win by 2

Playoff
1. Playoff seeds will be determined by the number of wins/losses, then points scored/ points against, then head to head record-through the round robin.

2. The top 4 teams from round robin/pool play will enter the playoff. If a division is split into two pools per bracket, then it will be the top 2 teams of each pool going to the final 4 playoff.

3. Teams 1 and 4 play each other, while teams 2 and 3 play. Winners play for gold/silver and losers play for bronze. Tournament games are single elimination, one game to 15, win by 2. Open Division medal matches may be games to 11 by 2, best 2/3 if time allows.

ALL PLAYERS MUST have a DUPR account to play, if you do not have a DUPR account then you can sign up here: https://mydupr.com/signup
You do not need an exact rating to enter the tournament. Players with a rating of N/A may enter any bracket they deem appropriate.

However, those with ratings will be asked to enter the appropriate bracket to avoid sandbagging. In other words, higher level players may not enter lower level brackets. But, lower level players may enter higher level brackets if they feel it is appropriate for them to do so.

Registrations are being monitored and all player DUPR ratings will be verified at THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. If your DUPR goes up between registration and the event, that is acceptable.

If you have multiple accounts, we will use the highest to confirm or deny registration.

Bracket start times, divisions, number of total games played, and total length of play are subject to change and will be determined after the final registration deadline. That said, we will NOT merge brackets without your consent. We will let you know a few days in advance about the final schedule.

Waiver: By registering for this event, you are agreeing to the waiver conditions attached. If you are a minor, we need a guardian’s signature before entry. DUPR score will be based upon team Average.

Weather
Inclement Weather: This is an outdoor tournament. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occurs the tournament will do all it can to play matches. If brackets are in mid play when a weather or unforeseen circumstance occurs the situation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Prize Money
$20,000 total potential is based on scaled registration and maximum allowance, along with raffle item value. The more players that enter, the more the prize pool will be. Brackets MUST have a minimum of 8 teams in order to qualify for payouts.

Bracket Prize Money Scale Rules (minimum of 8 teams to qualify):
Open Divisions: 51% of Bracket Gross: Split 50%, 30%, 20%
4.5 and Under Divisions: 35% of Bracket Gross: Split 50%, 30%, 20%
4.0 and Under Divisions: 30% of Bracket Gross: Split 50%, 30%, 20%
3.5 and Under Divisions: 25% of Bracket Gross: Split 50%, 30%, 20%
3.0 and Under Divisions: 20% of Bracket Gross: Split 50%, 30%, 20%
Splits percentages are towards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

No refunds will be made after 9/9 for any reason.
