Format: 4-Person Team Format

Description
Each team will consist of 4 female (or 4 male) players: 2 female players who are under 50 years of age and 2 female players who are over 50 years of age.
Each team will have 4 competing pairs:
Pair 1= two under 50 players
Pair 2= two over 50 players
Pair 3= one under 50 and one over 50
Pair 4= the other under 50 with the other over 50
Each match will consist of up to four (4) games to 15 (win by 2) with rally scoring, where a team must win a game on their serve. The four (4) games to be played will include: Women’s (or mens) under 50, women’s (or mens) over 50, and two (2) mixed (1 under 50 w/ 1 over 50 player). A DreamBreaker™ will be played to determine the winner of the match if teams are tied at 2-2 after all 4 games.
Each doubles game will be played with rally scoring to 15 points (win by 2). Players will change ends when one team reaches a score of 8. End changes are mandatory for both teams.
Rules
The 4 players in a team, will use their individual DUPR score and add them all together. The cumulative number should be over 14 - 18. Self rating is allowed.
Rally scoring to 15 with a winning margin of at least two (2) points. A team can only win a game while serving. The score is announced with just two numbers. There is no first or second server.
In doubles play, there will be a right side (even) player and a left side (odd) player. The right side player will serve when their score is even and receive when the opponent's score is even. The left side player will serve when their score is odd and receive when the opponent's score is odd. Players do not switch sides after winning points.
If the teams are tied at 2-2 after the first four games, they play a Dreambreaker. In a Dreambreaker, one player from each team plays singles against each other. The winner is the first team to reach 15 points and win by two.
Round Robin Pool Format:
4 games to 15, per combination, win by 2.
Top teams 2 teams play for gold.
Other 2 teams play for bronze.
Cost: $80 per player ($320 per team)
Your registration is not confirmed until all 4 players have registered and paid.

Paddles: USAPA-approved or UPA-A paddles
Ball: Franklin X-40
DUPR 18 (The team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 18.30)
DUPR 16 (The team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 16.30)
DUPR 14 (The team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 14.30)
Spectators are welcome, but seating is limited, so feel free to bring your own chair.
Note: Stadium Pickleball reserves the right to alter match formats, or move teams around between skill levels based on registrations.
