Description
Are you ready for some FUN! The future of pickleball is here: The Dink Minor League Pickleball is sweeping the nation with a social amateur play that's innovate and fun.
FORMAT: Minor League Pickleball is an innovative team competition where teams of 4 players (2 women and 2 men) compete against each other in an engaging format, with twists on traditional match-ups and scoring for games, matches, and tiebreakers. Teams compete using the MLPlay format.
The matches are composed of four 21-point games, one women's double, a men's double, and the final two games consisting mixeddoubles. If both teams are tied at 2-2 after the for games are played, they'll go to a Dreambreaker. In a Dreambreaker one person from each team plays singles against the other team's player, switching players every four rallies until someone gets to 21 and wins by two points.
MATCH LOCATION: Each team is responsible for organizing their own court location for playing matches. Teams must play out of facilities within the geographic boundaries below 285 perimeter. Teams whose facility resides near the boundaries and have recieved special permission to play in the league will also be premitted - Contact Pickleball+ if your facility is outside the required geographic boundaries.
TEAMS: Every registrated team will appoint a captain to manage. Captins have the discretion to create a team with as many players as necessary to avoid defaults of play. NOTE: The 2 men and 2 women who compete in the first round of genter doubles MAY BE DIFFFERENT than the 2 women and 2 men who compete in the mixed doubles rounds of play. However, once the mixed doubles partnerships have been determined for the first round of mixed doubles play, the players MUST remain the same for the second roung of mixed doubles.

To sign up you'll need to have a DUPR account. Not rated players can play; however, their estimated rating will be verified.
Each team consists of 2 women and 2 men. Each team plays1 women's doubles, 1 men doubles, and 2 mixed doubles games.
Team captain will register and is required to find 3 other players to fill the team. Teams earn points based on match results, creating a fast-paced, comptetive environment that emphasizes teamwork, strategy, and energy. The format encourages equal participation from all players and delivers a dynmic league experience.
Matches will be played on Thursdays, @ 7pm weekly.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
To recieve a refund minus the $5 tech fee and 3% processing fee, cancellation must be received by the end of day 15 days prior to the league's start date.
Example: Event start date is May 1, 2025. Cancellation must be received by 11:59 pm local time on May 15, 2025. After May 15, 2025, no refunds will be issued. Individual Registration Refund Policy: Individul Registrations are not guaranteed placement in a team. Players that sign up as a single player(Individual Registration) with no team and are not placed in a team, will receive a full refund minus the $5 technology fee and the 3% processing fee 3-5 business days the first day when the league begins.
