Description
Welcome to the inaugural PTC Foundation Phoenix Open! This exciting event will take place on Saturday, October 11th at Greenwood County Recreation Complex in Greenwood, SC. Your generosity provides food and academic necessities for our students experiencing unexpected hardships.
All play (including mixed doubles) will happen on Saturday. See schedule by division below.
9:00 AM - Women's Doubles
12:00 PM - Mixed Doubles
3:00 PM - Men's Doubles
Arrival and Check-In:
To ensure a seamless start to our event, please arrive at the NO LATER than 30 minutes before your scheduled start time. When you arrive please check in, and start warming up!

Two outdoor courts will be available for warm-up
Players support: Enjoy snacks & drinks; seating is limited, so bring a chair

Rules
When the initial schedule is posted, all registered teams are guaranteed a minimum of 3 round robin games. Following round robin play, qualifying teams in each posted division advance to the medal round. All advancing teams are guaranteed a chance to play for a medal.
Competition Format: Round Robin followed by 3 team (or more) bracket. Gold Medal match will be best 2 out of 3. All games will use standard scoring to 11, win by 2. Sudden death at 15 (If both teams at 14, next team to score wins).
First tiebreaker is head to head; second tiebreaker is point differential.

*Only paddles approved by USAP and UPA-A are allowed for tournament play.
Facility Waiver: By registering for this tournament you are agreeing to the facility waiver which will be available for review at the tournament.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Teams should be prepared to play at any time. The tournament schedule will be released 1 week in advance so that participants can finalize travel, lodging, etc. No round robin games will be scheduled to start past 5 pm each day. However, it is possible that delays occur, pushing games to start later than 5 pm. There will be no dedicated makeup day for matches missed due to inclement weather, and no refunds will be issued for matches missed due to inclement weather.
ONCE START TIMES ARE RELEASED, PLAYERS HAVE 48 HOURS TO CANCEL & INFORM TOURNAMENT THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO PLAY.
