New Year’s Pickleball Tournament at The Yards

****POOL PLAY****

Each team plays one game to 11, win by 1, against every other team in their division (round robin).
In 8-team divisions this equals 7 matches guaranteed, provided the division is full and all teams check in on time. Tournament director reserves the right to adjust the total number of matches for divisions with fewer teams or unexpected withdrawals.

PLAYOFFS
Playoff seeding will be determined by:

1. overall wins/losses

2. head-to-head result (if applicable)

3. points scored / points against (point differential)

4. total points scored

The top 4 teams advance to the playoffs:
– Semifinals: 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3
– Winners play in the Final for 1st/2nd place
– Losers play in the 3rd Place Match

ALL PLAYERS MUST have a DUPR account to play, if you do not have a DUPR account then you can sign up here: https://dashboard.dupr.com/signup If you have multiple accounts, we will use the highest to confirm or deny registration. 

This event uses “X & Under” divisions with simple, clean eligibility rules, based on the DUPR you have AT REGISTRATION TIME. Eligibility (per player): 3.0 & Under: DUPR 3.15 or below 3.5 & Under: DUPR 3.65 or below Players may play up a division but MAY NOT PLAY DOWN. Team Combined Maximums: 3.0 & Under: Max team combined = 6.00 3.5 & Under: Max team combined = 7.00 These rules ensure fair and balanced play while still allowing flexible partner choices.

****Additional DUPR Policies****

DUPR is verified at time of registration. If your DUPR increases after you register, you are still eligible. Players with N/A DUPR may enter any division they deem appropriate but are subject to director review. Director may request a different division if competitive imbalance is clear.

****ENTRY FEE**** $70 per player ($65+$5 SWISH fee) Includes: Minimum 7 matches Indoor air-conditioned facility Organized brackets and live scoring through the SWISH app. Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places.

****RAFFLE PRIZES**** (x1) Selkirk Paddle - LUXX Control Air with InfiniGrit - Invikta (x1) Selkirk - Core Line - Day Bag - Pickleball Backpack (x8) Selkirk Pro S1 Ball.  Raffle & Prize Format All registered players are automatically entered into our tournament raffle. We will be using Wheel of Names to randomly select winners. 

*FINAL SCHEDULE*

 Men's Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Women's Doubles - SUNDAY JAN 4th Final bracket times and court assignments will be released after registration closes on 12/30/2025. Divisions will not be merged without your approval.

 Registration confirms that each player has read and agrees to the full event waiver, liability release, DUPR submission terms, and The Yards at Amelia facility rules. Minors must provide a parent/guardian signature before competing.
