DIVISIONS & TEAM CAPS
• Beginner Mixed Doubles (2.50–2.99) – 12 Teams
• Intermediate Mixed Doubles (3.0–3.49) – 12 Teams
• Advanced Mixed Doubles (3.5+) – 10 Teams
• Masters Mixed Doubles (3.0+) – 10 Teams*
*Masters Division is open to players aged 60 and over.

DUPR INFORMATION
This is a DUPR-rated tournament. All match scores will be submitted to DUPR.
You do not need an existing rating to participate.
All players must have a free DUPR account so that match results can be recorded.
Creating an account takes approximately two minutes:

- Register using your email address
That's it! Your DUPR rating will be created automatically based on your tournament results.
Please also create a free account on yycpickleball.com and complete a waiver if this is your first time playing at YYC Pickleball.
Rules
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
• Pool Play Round Robin Format
• Playoffs Following Round Robin
• Guaranteed Minimum of 3 Matches
Our goal is to maximize court time and provide a great tournament experience for all participants.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to add, combine, modify, or cancel divisions based on registration numbers.
SCOREKEEPING
YYC Pickleball uses the Swish App for live tournament scoring and standings.
Please download the Swish App before the tournament. Detailed instructions on joining the event and entering scores will be emailed to participants after registration closes.
DIVISION ELIGIBILITY & PLAYER RATINGS
Players may compete in a higher division but may not compete in a lower division than their rating permits.
For doubles teams, division eligibility is determined by the higher-rated player on the team. Teams must register in a division that includes the rating of the highest-rated player.
Examples:
✓ A 3.4 player and a 2.4 player must register in Intermediate Mixed Doubles (3.0–3.49)
✓ A 3.5 player and a 3.0 player must register in Advanced Mixed Doubles (3.5+)
✓ A 4.2 player and a 3.1 player must register in Advanced Mixed Doubles (3.5+)
✗ A 3.4 player and a 2.4 player may not register in Beginner Mixed Doubles (2.50–2.99)
✗ A 3.5 player and a 3.0 player may not register in Intermediate Mixed Doubles (3.0–3.49)
Player ratings may be based on:
• DUPR Ratings
• YYC Pickleball Club Ratings
• Tournament history and prior results
• YYC Pickleball assessment sessions
Players without an established rating may be assigned a rating by YYC Pickleball.
YYC Pickleball reserves the right to review all player ratings and move teams to the appropriate division to ensure fair and competitive play. Entries may be declined if players do not meet the eligibility requirements of their selected division.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued after registration closes.
