Mile Hi City Pickleball Open — "Where 8 Meets 80"
August 1–2, 2026 | 9am–2pm | Mile Hi City Pickleball, Denver CO
A two day pickleball tournament open to all ages. August 1 is a youth tournament for players ages 8–17. August 2 is a generational pairs tournament requiring a minimum 25 year age gap between partners. Recreational and competitive divisions available both days. Minimum age 8, no maximum.
DAY 1 — YOUTH TOURNAMENT | August 1 | $35 per player
Individual registration. Three age divisions:
- 8–10
- 11–13
- 14–17
Each division offers recreational and competitive brackets.
DAY 2 — GENERATIONAL TOURNAMENT | August 2 | $70 per team
Teams must register as a set pair with a minimum 25 year age gap. Minimum age 8, no maximum. Grandparents and grandkids, parents and teens, parents and adult children — any combo works.
Three skill divisions:
- Beginner
- Low intermediate
- High intermediate / competitive
This is not a DUPR event. Please register honestly for the level that reflects both players' game.
⭐ Special award for the biggest age gap team.
FORMAT
- Round robin pool play with 5 guaranteed games
- After the 5 games, Single elimination throughout to finals
- Gold, silver, and bronze awarded in every division
- Finals: Gold and silver — 1 game to 15 Bronze — 1 game to 11
- All games played to 11

- Official ball: Franklin X40
- Indoor courts
- 15 minute warm up before each division
- Food and water available for purchase
- Ample parking on site
- Full schedule and check-in times sent one week prior
REQUIREMENTS
- All participants must have an active Mile Hi City Pickleball account with a signed waiver on file prior to competing
- Registration closes July 31st at 12pm — no exceptions
- $5 fee is added to final total which paid directly to SWISH and is nonrefundable
POLICIES
- No refunds within 7 days of the event
- Spot transfers and replacements permitted
- Divisions may be combined based on registration numbers and subject to the discretion of the tournament director
