Format: 3-person Team League
Price: NZD70.00 / Player (must register and pay as a team)
Description
- 6 teams in each division (18 teams total)
- 3 women in each team
- 2 rounds played each Sunday
- 3-hour session (1:00–4:00 pm)
- Sunday 26 July – Rounds 1 & 2
- Sunday 2 August – Rounds 3 & 4
- Sunday 9 August – Round 5 (second half pot luck games and food)
- Sunday 16 August – Finals
Rules
Competition Format
- The league runs over 4 consecutive Sundays from 26 July to 16 August 2026.
- Teams compete in one of three DUPR divisions.
- Each team consists of 3 registered players.
- Every fixture consists of three doubles matches, with each player partnering each of their teammates once.
- Week 3 - will consist of one competitive round to close out the pool matches, and Queen of the Court games to make connections within the womens Love Pickle Community; and afternoon tea.
Team Captains
- Each team must nominate a Captain.
- The Captain is responsible for:
- Registering the team.
- Paying the full team entry fee.
- Collecting contributions from teammates.
- Communicating with Love Pickle on behalf of the team.
- Confirming the team's playing roster each week.
Weekly Team Confirmation
- Team Captains must confirm their playing team by 8:00 pm on the Friday before each Sunday competition.
- Any substitute players must also be advised at this time.
Substitute Players
- Teams may use substitute players when required.
- Substitute players must:
- Be of a similar DUPR level and eligible for the division they are substituting in.
- A team must always field at least one original registered team members for a fixture to count.
Match Format
- Matches use normal game scoring to 11, win by 2.
- Scores will be entered into DURP.
Finals
- The top teams in each division will compete in the Finals on Sunday 16 August 2026.
- Finals match-ups will be based on the final league standings following completion of the round robin.
