Long Island PickleBall Paddlers League

This is a team pickleball league. Teams consist of at least two men and two women and no more than six players. Eight games will be played per match. Each match consists of two men's and two women's doubles and four mixed doubles games, each mixed doubles game will be a different pair of individuals.

Matches are two hours; eight (8) 15-minute games.

Each match will consist of two men's and two women's games and four mixed doubles games, each mixed doubles game will be a different pair of players to start. Given there are up to six players per team, a team may choose to substitute a player during a game after the first five minutes of play. If a substitute is brought into the game, no warm up will be given and the substitute will begin play at the current score. As an example, if a substitute is brought into a game and his team is losing 5-9, the score will begin 5-9 for the remaining portion of the game.

Games are played for 15 minutes. After each game, a running total of points will be tallied. After all eight (8) games have been played, the winning team is the team with the highest point total over the entire eight games.

The order of the games will be as follows:
1. Women's Doubles
2. Men's Doubles
3. Mixed Doubles 1
4. Mixed Doubles 2 (must start as a different pair from Mixed 1 but may substitute after five minutes of play)
5. Women's Doubles
6. Men's Doubles
7. Mixed Doubles 3
8. Mixed Doubles 4 (must start as a different pair from Mixed 3 but may substitute after five minutes of play)
