Description
Welcome to the Freedom Open pickleball tournament hosted by 24 Hour Pickleball Club! This exciting event will take place on Saturday, May 24th, Sunday, May 25th, and Monday, May 26th at the indoor 24 Hour Pickleball Club in Lexington, SC. With over 35 divisions available, players of all skill levels and genders are welcome! Referees will be present for all championship matches.
Tentative Schedule:
Saturday (8 AM start time) – Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles & Women's Doubles
Sunday (12 PM start time) – Mixed Doubles
Monday (12pm start time) - Youth Singles/Doubles
Registration & Pricing:
Current registration fee is $35 (must register and pay as a team), which includes entry into one event and access to the exclusive premium players lounge with healthy snacks and sports drinks.
Youth registration fee is $30.
Pricing Tiers:
Registration Open - Player List Drop: $35
2 Weeks Out: $40
1 Week Out: $45
Last Minute At the Door: $50 (pay when you arrive)
Divisions & Payouts:
Skill Levels: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+
Prize Money: 4.5+ doubles (men's, women's mixed) gold medalists will receive a $200 cash prize per winning doubles team.
Player Limit: 12 team spots available per division (minimum of 3 teams required to play a division).
NOTE: We will post and email specific start times for each event approximately 3 days before the tournament.

Rules
The Tournament Director aims to ensure all events are completed as scheduled. However, the Director reserves the right to modify the format, shorten games, or make any adjustments necessary to facilitate the completion of the event.
Rating rules:
- 2.5 Division: Highest player rating must be under 2.99
- 3.0 Division: Highest player rating must be under 3.49
- 3.5 Division: Highest player rating must be under 3.99
- 4.0 Division: Highest player rating must be under 4.49
- 4.5+ Division: No restriction
Competition Format: Round Robin followed by 3 team (or more) bracket. Gold Medal match will be best 2 out of 3. All games will use standard scoring to 11, win by 2. Sudden death at 15 (If both teams at 14, next team to score wins).
First tiebreaker is head to head; second tiebreaker is point differential.
Players who do not attend their scheduled event without prior notification to the Tournament Director, or who leave the event prematurely without informing the Director, will be charged a $30 fine. This fine must be settled prior to registration for any future 24 Hour Pickleball Club events.

*Only paddles approved by USAP and UPA-A are allowed for tournament play.

NOTE: All scores will be submitted to DUPR following the conclusion of the tournament. You must provide your DUPR ID# when registering. Go to DUPR.com to get a free DUPR ID# prior to registering.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
THIS TOURNAMENT OFFERS A START TIME GUARANTEE! ONCE START TIMES ARE RELEASED, PLAYERS HAVE 48 HOURS TO INFORM TOURNAMENT MANAGEMENT IF THEY CANNOT PLAY.
Players who withdraw from the tournament within 48 hours will receive a full refund of their registration fee, minus a $5 processing fee. This fee covers administrative costs and is non-refundable.

All refunds will be processed and issued within 5 business days following the conclusion of the tournament.
*All divisions require a minimum of at least 3 teams to be played. If the minimum number of teams is not reached, you may move divisions or withdraw and receive a refund.
