Description
Welcome to the 1st ever High School National Championship! The best high school players from around the country will compete to claim the top spot at this inaugural event! This event will be happening alongside The Nationals - the 5th annual college pickleball championship.
Eligibility
- Players must be taking high school classes
- Players must not have graduated high school
- Any 2 high schoolers can pair up and play in this, you do not need to go to the same school
- You do not need to qualify for this event, it is open to all high schoolers
Schedule
Saturday, April 11th
- 1:30pm-2pm, Warm-up
- 2pm-4:30pm, Group play
- 4:30pm-7:30pm, Playoffs
Format
Teams will be placed into groups of 5-6. After group play, the top 8 teams will move on to the playoffs to determine the 2026 High School National Champion! Games will be played with rally scoring to 21, win by 2, win on serve. This game format is the same one that is used at the college level.
The championship team will take home $500, with 2nd place walking away with $250!
Spectators
It is free to come watch this event and the college event! There will be a $10 cash-only fee to park at Life Time, or you can park at our free shuttle lot.
Rules
CLOTHING
No players can wear a top or bottom that matches the color of the ball (bright yellow). If we hold the ball up to the clothing and the ball outline starts to become hard to distinguish at a normal pickleball distance, please wear something else.
PHOTOGRAPHY NOTICE
By registering for high school tournaments, participants acknowledge that photos and videos taken during the event may be used by DUPR for social media promotion. All such photos and videos remain DUPR's property, and DUPR reserves the right to share them. The DUPR marketing team will add a high school logo watermark to player photos. If shared on social media, players must retain the logo and credit DUPR.
