Description

The Dink Club is excited to host the Dink Madness Pickleball Tournament, a two-day event packed with thrilling low matches and competitive spirit! Join us on April 26th from 8AM to 7PM and April 27th from 8AM to 5PM at the Dink Club Pickleball courts, located at the JCC Alper Miami. Each team will receive free team shirts. You will be emailed with the order link once you register. Multiple Division play is allowed only if your Divisions do no run back to back.

This tournament will be DUPR rated and regulated, ensuring a high standard of play for all participants. Teams combined DUPR must fall under the Division DUPR Rating with a .2 variance. Division times will be announced soon, so stay tuned for updates.

Rules

We are playing with Franklin X balls.
Multiple Division play is allowed only if your Divisions do no run back to back.

Pool Play – All teams will play a minimum of 4 games in your pool.
1. Each game is played in your pool to 11 points, win by 1

Playoff
1. Playoff seeds will be determined by the number of wins/losses, then points scored/points against, then head to head record-through round robin.
2. The top 4 teams from round/pool play will enter the playoff. If a division is split into two pools per bracket, then it will be the top 2 teams of each pool going to the final 4 playoff.
3. Teams 1 and 4 play each other, while teams 2 and 3 play. Winners play for gold/silver and losers play for bronze. Tournament games are single elimination. Playoffs are up to 11 win by 2, Final Medal games are up to 15, win by 2.

You do not need an exact rating to enter the tournament. Players with a rating of N/A may enter any bracket they deem appropriate.

Registrations are being monitored, and all DUPR ratings will be verified at the time of registration. All players who register two or more weeks before the tournament will have their ratings rechecked up until two weeks before the tournament date.

If your DUPR rating exceeds the allowed limit for your division, you will be moved to the appropriate division if spots are available. If no spots are available, your registration will be canceled and refunded.

Within the two weeks leading up to the tournament, if your DUPR rating increases after registration, you will still be allowed to compete in your registered division.

DUPR scores will be based on the team’s average. For example, in the 3.5 and Under division, your team must have a combined DUPR score of no more than 7.2. There will be no exceptions.

If you have multiple DUPR accounts, we will use the highest rating to confirm or deny your registration.

Bracket start times, divisions, the total number of games played, and the overall length of play are subject to change and will be determined after the final registration deadline. However, we will not merge brackets without your consent. The final schedule will be shared with you a few days in advance.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

To receive a refund minus the $5 technology fee and the 3% processing fee, cancellation must be received by the end of day March 19 days prior to tournament starting.
Example: Tournament start date is April 26th and 27th. Cancellation must be received by 11:59pm local time Wednesday, April 22nd, 2025. After April 22nd, 2025, no refunds will be issued.

By registering for this event, you are agreeing to the waiver conditions attached. If you are a minor, we need a guardian’s signature before entry.


Inclement Weather: This is an outdoor tournament. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstances occur the tournament will do all it can to play matches. If brackets are in mid-play when weather or unforeseen circumstances occur the situation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
