Description

Welcome to the Dink Pink for the Cure fundraiser tournament hosted by 24 Hour Pickleball Club! This action-packed pickleball event combines competitive spirit with a good cause, as 100% of profits from this event will go towards the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The tournament will take place on Saturday, November 2nd at the brand new indoor 24 Hour Pickleball Club Facility in Lexington, SC. This tournament has 32 divisions divided between both women's and mixed doubles, age, and skill level. Referees will be available for all championship matches.

Schedule:

9am: Women's Doubles (3.5) All Ages
9am: Women's Doubles (2.5) Ages: 35-49 & 50-59
9:30am: Women's Doubles (3.0) All Ages
11:30am: Women's Doubles (2.5) Ages: 8-34
11:30am: Mixed Doubles (2.5) Ages: 8-34 & 35-49
12pm: Mixed Doubles (2.5) Ages: 50-59
12pm: Mixed Doubles (3.5) Ages: 35-49 & 50-59
2pm: Mixed Doubles (3.0) All Ages
2:30pm: Mixed Doubles (3.5) Ages: 8-34
2:30pm: Mixed Doubles (4.0+) Ages: 35-49

The registration fee is $25 (you must register and pay as a team), covering entry into one event. Early Bird pricing is set at $25, but the price is only going up - sign up now! Registration fee includes access to the exclusive premium players lounge with healthy snacks and sports drinks. A breast cancer awareness sweat band included with the registration fee will be provided to all players.

Skill Levels: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+
Player Limit: 10 team spots available per division
NOTE: We will post and email specific start times for each event approximately 4 days before the event.

As the registration progresses, tournament management may combine divisions if necessary due to insufficient entries. If divisions are combined, awards will be given based on the original divisions, not the combined ones.

*Membership credits do not apply for this fundraiser tournament.

Rules

The Tournament Director aims to ensure all events are completed as scheduled. However, the Director reserves the right to modify the format, shorten games, or make any adjustments necessary to facilitate the completion of the event.

Competition Format: Round Robin followed by 4 team bracket. Round Robin and semi final matches will be one game, while medal matches will be best 2 out of 3. All games will use standard scoring to 11 win by 2.

Players who do not attend their scheduled event without prior notification to the Tournament Director, or who leave the event prematurely without informing the Director, will be charged a $30 fine. This fine must be settled prior to registration for any future 24 Hour Pickleball Club events.

NOTE: All scores will be submitted to DUPR immediately following the conclusion of the tournament. You must provide your DUPR ID# when registering. Go to DUPR.com to get a free DUPR ID# prior to registering.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

The cancellation deadline is set for 12pm EST on October 19th, 2024. After this date, refunds are not available. For cancellations made before this deadline, a $20 administration fee will apply.

All refunds will be processed and issued within 5 business days following the conclusion of the tournament.
