This event features four pool play games followed by a single elimination bracket. Format Teams begin with four pool play games that determine bracket seeding. Once seeding is set, teams advance into a single elimination bracket until division champions are decided.
Divisions are organized by DUPR rating ranges (for example 2.0–2.4, 2.5–2.9, 3.0–3.4). Teams must register based on the higher rated player. For example, if one player is 3.1 and the other is 2.8, the correct division is 3.0–3.4. Divisions may be adjusted and/or combined at our discretion to allow for sufficient participation and fair play.
Register as a team. One player signs up and lists their partner during registration. $90 per team. Early Bird Discount: $70 per team if you register by June 1.
Division Schedule Finalized times will be emailed approximately one week before the tournament.
Rules
The Dink and Destroy in the Desert Tournament follows a four game pool play structure followed by a single elimination bracket.
Partners remain the same throughout the event.
Games will be managed in the Swish App and submitted to DUPR after the tournament concludes.
Pool play and bracket games are to 11, win by 2, with a cap at 13.
Franklin X-40 ball will be used for all matches. All matches are played on indoor courts with an outdoor-style surface. All games are self officiated. Standard USA Pickleball rules apply.
Balls are provided. Players should bring their own paddles and water.
Divisions may be adjusted or combined to allow for sufficient participation and fair, competitive play.

Full refunds are available through July 8. Please contact us before the deadline if you need to cancel your registration.
