Description
This is the first pickleball tournament for the Kentucky Derby Festival and will be held at the beautiful outdoor courts at Goodbounce Pickleball Yard overlooking downtown Louisville and the Ohio River!
We're providing multiple skill divisions during the two-day tournament for doubles events, so everyone has an event that fits their needs.
DIVISIONS:
• Saturday: Men’s Doubles: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+ (Schedule TBA)
• Saturday: Women’s Doubles: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0and 4.5+ (Schedule TBA)
• Sunday: Mixed Doubles 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+ (Schedule TBA)
• Sunday: Youth Division Ages 13-18 (Schedule TBA)
* You are welcome to play up in a division, but not down. DUPR max is by team, not individual.
OTHER TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
• 6 outdoor courts
• Round Robin format
• Medals awarded to the top three places in each division determined by Swish
• One complementary beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) per entry
• Beverages available for purchase
NOTES:
• Players looking for partners: please send an email to [email protected] with the following information: name, age, DUPR ID & Rating, email and phone number, and bracket you want to play in: Women’s, Men’s or Mixed Doubles, 3.0, 3.5, etc.
• Waitlist: If your division is full and would like to be added to a waiting list, please send an email to [email protected] with the following information for BOTH players: names, ages, DUPR IDs & Ratings, emails and phone numbers, and bracket you want to play in: Women’s, Men’s or Mixed Doubles, 3.0, 3.5, etc.
Rules
All divisions are Round Robin, with Top four Teams seeding into Medal Round, which will provide max playing time for everyone. The Tournament Director reserves the right to amend divisions as needed, based on registrations and time allowed to hold the event.
Important: ALL players who register are required to have an email address and DUPR ID number. For all team competitions, the player who registers the team must have email addresses and DUPR ID numbers for BOTH players. Registration without this information may delay your entry.
• Cost is $120/team for Round Robin competition
• Cost is $20/person for Youth Division
Agreement, Waiver and Release (Waiver): Please review waiver under the Photos tab on this website. When you register for the tournament, you are acknowledging to the terms and conditions of the Waiver. You will also be required to sign the Waiver at the Registration Desk.
*Inclement weather will result in the tournament being moved to the Clarksville, Indiana location.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellations/Changes - Please make any changes to partners or cancellations directly through My Tournaments at Swishtournaments.com. If you need to change partners or withdraw after registration has closed, please email the tournament director at [email protected].
Refunds - Will be given until Friday, April 18, 2025 at 11:59 pm.
ALL REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS WILL BE LESS $5.00 SWISH PROCESSING FEE & $3.00 BANK FEES.
