Description

Join us for the Conejo Classic Team Pickleball Tournament hosted by Ventura County Pickleball Club (VCPC) and Conejo Recreation and Park District (CRPD) at Rancho Conejo Playfield in Newbury Park.
This is an MiLP-style Team Tournament - games to 15 or 21 (TBA), rally scoring. Play 4 games each round - 1 each Men's & Women's Doubles, and 2 Mixed Doubles. If the teams are tied at the end of the round, then you play a tie breaker match - one game to 21, WinBy2, (singles or doubles TBD) - each player will rotate on & off the court for 4 rallies.
Rules:
DUPR Divisions:
DUPR 18 (The team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 18.30)
**Maximum individual player DUPR cannot exceed 5.10 to play in DUPR 18
DUPR 16 (The team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 16.30)
**Maximum individual player DUPR cannot exceed 4.60 to play in DUPR 16
DUPR 14 (The team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 14.30)
**Maximum individual player DUPR cannot exceed 4.10 to play in DUPR 14
DUPR 12 (The team’s aggregate DUPR must not exceed 12.30)
**Maximum individual player DUPR cannot exceed 3.60 to play in DUPR 12

Once a team registers for this Pickleball event, their ratings are “locked” and their DUPR increasing or decreasing will not impact the team’s aggregate or division placement.
To sign up for this event, a DUPR account is required at the time of registration. Not rated players can play; however, their estimated rating will be verified by the tournament director.

Substitute Players
A team that needs a player substitute can either edit their team by signing into Swish and making the edits themselves or a player may submit the player substitute information directly to the tournament organizer. Substitute player’s DUPR may not cause the established team’s aggregate to go over max event’s aggregate, or the team will be moved to the next higher group.

This is an automated tournament run on the SWISH App. Players are required to have the SWISH App uploaded to their phone.

Important: ALL players who register are required to have an email address and DUPR ID number. For all team competitions, the player who registers the team must have email addresses and DUPR ID numbers for ALL players. Registration without this information may delay your entry.
• Cost is $200/team ($50/person) for Round Robin competition.
• PLEASE check your rating for each entry prior to registering for the tournament.  

DIVISIONS:
• Saturday: DUPR 16 & 18
• Sunday: DUPR Teams 12 & 14

OTHER TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
• 10 outdoor courts (6 dedicated and 4 multi-use courts).
• Medals awarded to the top three teams in each division.
• Top three winners will be determined by the "Results" page (Win/Loss) on the SWISH App.
• Complementary snacks and water available.
• Food available for purchase.

Rules

• Tournament Rules: Official USA Pickleball 2025 Rulebook.
• As of the day of the tournament, only paddles on USA Pickleball’s approved list may be used in the tournament. For a full list of approved paddles, visit www.equipment.usapickleball.org.
• Tournament Ball: Franklin X40.
• Code of Conduct: VCPC, CRPD (See VCPC and CRPD Codes of Conduct under Photos tab) and USAP Code of Conduct at https://usapickleball.org/about-us/organizational-docs/code-of-conduct-2/.  As a part of the Waiver, you will be required to acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to abide by the policies and conditions of VCPC’s Code of Conduct and those of USAP and CRPD.
• Dress Code: USAP Rules, Shirts and Shoes Required.
• Agreement, Waiver and Release (Waiver): Please review waiver under the Photos tab on this website. When you register for the tournament, you are acknowledging to the terms and conditions of the Waiver. You will also be required to sign the Waiver at the Registration Desk.

Prior to the tournament, please complete the following:
1. If you are not already in DUPR, then go to DUPR at www.mydupr.com and register for free.
2. You will be given an ID#. Write it down and note DUPR Rating or if NR (Not Rated), along with your DUPR password, and log out of DUPR.
3. In DUPR, request to be added to the Ventura County Pickleball Club - Click on Clubs on the left of screen, search for VCPC, JOIN CLUB.
4. Next, go to your app store and download the SWISH Sports app.
5. Register (FREE) and then in the SWISH App on your phone, click on "profile" in the bottom right-hand corner, there you will be able to LINK YOUR DUPR - This will take your directly to DUPR and will link automatically once you sign in.
6. Once you scan in on the day of the tournament, you will then be ready for the tournament! If you are having trouble with synching your SWISH app with DUPR, please arrive 10 minutes prior to check-in for help.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations/Changes - Please make any changes to partners or cancellations directly through My Tournaments at Swishtournaments.com. If you need to change partners or withdraw after registration has closed, please email the tournament director at [email protected].

Refunds - Will be given until Friday, June 13, 2025 at 11:59 pm.
ALL REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS WILL BE LESS $5.00 SWISH PROCESSING FEE & $3.00 BANK FEES.

NOTE: Cancellation of tournament due to Weather will result in refunds to all players less $5.00 Swish processing fee & $3.00 Bank Fees.
