**** UPDATE: We will only have 2 divisions and we’ll be playing at the new club, Dill Dinkers Blanco Market, indoor with A/C to get out of the summer heat. ****
The Pink Kitchen once again is excited to present the CLASH OF CLUBS Amateur Pickleball Leagues, Season 2.
Begins on SATURDAY, MAY 31.
5 weeks straight of competing, then Playoff will happen on Saturday, July 12.
We skip the July 4th weekend so you can go on vacation.
DUPR 13: 7-9 AM
DUPR 16: 9-11 AM
EVERY PLAYER WILL RECEIVE A TEAM SHIRT AND A SWAG BAG.
FORMAT:
8 teams in each division consisting of 2 women and 2 men on each team compete against each other team in a Match.
A Match is composed of four (4) 21-point rally score games with NO freeze in the scores, one women’s doubles, a men’s doubles, and the final two games consisting of mixed doubles. If both teams are tied at 2-2 after the 4 games are played, they’ll go to the Dreambreaker (a tiebreaker game) where one person from each team plays singles against the other team’s player, switching players every 4 points until someone gets to 21 and wins by two points.
2 Matches per day. Every Saturday starting May 31, for 5 weeks straight. Then all teams will advance to playoff with Single Elimination on Saturday July 12.
We will have weekly sponsor giveaways such as gears, gift cards, club cash and/or monthly memberships.
DUPR 16 champion team will receive 4 pairs of Babolat high performance Pickleball shoes.
DUPR 13 champion team will receive 4 of Babolat pickleball paddles.
Babolat shoes and paddles are proudly sponsored by Babolat Pickleball.
All Gold, Silver and Bronze will receive medals and players' names will be engraved on Clash of Clubs Trophy.
Each team must name your team as 1 of the Clubs you represent. This is a good chance for you to ask your club to sponsor part of the entry fees.
Rules
DUPR 16 (max aggregate 16.300)
*Maximum individual player DUPR cannot exceed 4.60 to play in DUPR 16
DUPR 13 (max aggregate 13.300)
*Maximum individual player DUPR cannot exceed 3.85 to play in DUPR 13
Once a team registers, their ratings are “locked” and their DUPR increasing or decreasing will not impact the team’s aggregate or division placement.
NR players can still join and their DUPR will be the average of the team
Substitute Players
Substitute player’s DUPR may not cause the established team’s aggregate to go over max event’s aggregate.
Matches will NOT be recorded on DUPR.
DUPR is only used for ranking and team forming validations. Please join "The Pink Kitchen" club on your DUPR app.
All fees must be paid when teams and/or individuals are registered to confirm your spot. If you have a team then you should register as one team. If you do not have a team then register as Individual and we will do our best to match you up in a team. You are encouraged to register even if you don’t have a team yet.
