Thank you for joining us at the Big Climb Dallas Pickleball Tournament, a charity event benefitting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)!
LLS began out of one family’s grief in the 1940’s when they lost their son, Robert de Villiers, to leukemia, then known as an incurable disease. Today, that same form of fatal pediatric leukemia has a survival rate of more than 90%. Over the last seven decades, LLS has broadened its scope to support all forms of blood cancers. Our mission today is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, all while improving the quality of life for patients and their families.
The Big Climb Dallas Pickleball Tournament serves as an extension of our signature fitness event in Dallas, Big Climb, where we step up to take cancer down while climbing the Bank of America Plaza. We hope that all who wish to support LLS through Big Climb but are unable to participate in the stair climb are able to enjoy our first annual pickleball tournament!
