Armed Forces Pickleball Tournament Skinny Singles Prelude Kick off the excitement of the Armed Forces Pickleball Tournament with an exhilarating Skinny Singles event. From 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM, players will face off in this fast-paced, one-on-one format that hones precision and agility. This prelude offers a perfect opportunity for competitors to warm up, showcase their skills, and engage in some friendly competition before the main tournament begins. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, join us for an energizing start to a day of camaraderie and spirited matches. Let the games begin!

Rules

Armed Forces Pickleball Tournament Rules

- All matches will follow the official USA Pickleball rules.
- Games are played in a best 2 out of 3 sets format.
- Rally scoring to 11 points, win by 2 points.
- Each division is based on a combined DUPR rating of 5, 6, 7, or 8, with the team's total rating not exceeding the division limit.
- Participants must register with a set partner; no partner substitutions are allowed once the tournament begins.
- The entry fee is $25 per player, which includes a complimentary Armed Forces Tournament Shirt.
- Teams should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled match time. Late arrivals may result in a forfeit.
- Disputes will be resolved by the tournament director, whose decisions are final.
- Good sportsmanship and respect for all players, officials, and volunteers are expected at all times.

The Skinny Singles event will follow a rally scoring format, meaning a point is awarded on every serve, regardless of which player served. Games will be played to 21 points, with a win requiring a 2-point margin. Players will compete on half of a standard pickleball court, adding an extra challenge that emphasizes accuracy and strategy. Standard pickleball rules apply, including proper serves and fault regulations.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Armed Forces Pickleball Tournament Cancellation and Refund Policy

- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the tournament will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 3 to 6 days before the tournament will receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made 1 day or less before the tournament or for no-shows.
- In the event of tournament cancellation due to weather, unforeseen circumstances, or insufficient registration, participants will receive a full refund.
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of the cancellation request.
