Format: Set Partner Pool Play + Single Elimination Bracket
Price: $80.00 / Player (must register and pay as a team)
Description
Franklin X-40 ball. 6 dedicated indoor pickleball courts with championship nets.
4 games guaranteed. Gender blind. Pools of 4 teams. 3 Round Robin games in pool play. Top two teams advance from each pool, based on wins then point differential. However, in the case of a win/loss tie, head to head will overrule point differential. Championship Bracket seeding created by swish app.
Single elimination in quarterfinal round. Semi final losers play for 3rd. With 12 teams, top two seeds will get a bye in the quarters and automatically advance to the semis. Teams not advancing to the Championship Bracket (bottom 2 teams from each pool) will be paired for one (1) consolation game.
Please bring your own water and snacks.
Rules
Players cannot play in both divisions. No spectators please. Players call their own lines.
Round Robin games played to 11, win by 2 to an overtime max of 13 points. Quarters and Semis played to 11, win by 2. Championship game to 11, win by 2 (if time allows, to 15, win by 2).
Players must join CBD Pickleball Club on DUPR and create a free account at CrossCourt Hawthorne, NY in order to sign the waiver.
Prize money based on 12 teams in the tournament, per division. Subject to change.
Tournament director reserves the right to alter the format in the event of unexpected circumstance and/or reassign players to the skill group that best aligns with the general field of tournament players and the player's skill level.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
No refunds given after 4/13. Tournament director should be notified immediately of any cancellation. If one member of the team needs to cancel the remaining player should find a sub within 24 hours, who meets the tournament DUPR min/max requirements or a team will be pulled from the waitlist.
