3RD ANNUAL EBE CLASSIC PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT

Welcome to the 3rd Annual EBE Classic Pickleball Tournament.

This tournament is not sanctioned. Please practice good sportsmanship & safety.

Players will self‐referee their own game. There will be staff around if there are any questions or if you need any help.

The tournament is round robin style. One game to 11, win by 2. Round robin winner will be determined by: 1) # of matches won, 2) head to head winner, 3) total point differential.
teams determine 1st serve by flipping ebe coin. winning side chooses to serve or return while opposing team chooses side to start game.
Bracket play will be one game to 11, win by 2. switch sides at the 6th point. Single elimination. 3. medal matches will be one game to 15, win by 2. switch sides at 8th point. There will also be an official for medal matches.
Any player can call a net violation or foot fault. The opposite team’s call is final. The call must be made immediately.
After each game, report your score to the court official. both teams need to sign the score off.
Move on immediately to your next game when the court you are assigned to is available.
Each team has one 30 second timeout per game.

**** VERY IMPORTANT ****

DO NOT CALL A BALL OUT UNLESS YOU CLEARLY SEE SPACE BETWEEN THE BALL & THE LINE. Error on the side of “the ball is good” & play anything close. The “receiving” team has the right to call the ball in or out. Their decision is final. Both partners must agree the ball was out. If one calls in and the other one calls out then the ball is in. If the receiving team is unsure or didn’t see where the ball landed, they may turn the decision over to the hitting team. As it is now the hitting team’s decision is then final. NO REPLAYS! If the ball cannot clearly be called out, it is in by default.
