Description
Come and join in our 10 year celebrations by playing in our Annual Doubles Tournament. This year we will have a 3.5 and under division to cater to developing players.
All pool games, quarterfinals and semifinals will be to 15, win by 2, with the finals and play/off for 3/4th best of three games to 11, win by 2.
Games will be un-timed, and all results will be uploaded to DUPR.
All players must have a DUPR account, and will ideally also have a Swish Sports App account linked to their DUPR account.
The 3.5 and under division is open only to players with an individual DUPR below 4.1 and a combined partner DUPR of 7.0 or below at the time of registering for the tournament - no exceptions.
The Super divisions are open to players who have turned 60 years before 10th October 2025.
There is no dinner arranged for this year so games can continue into Saturday evening.
Practice times and briefing times are provisional at this stage and will be confirmed closer to the event.
Each day will involve only one of the 3 divisions:
- Friday 10th October - Super Mens, Womens and Mixed
- Saturday 11th October - Under 3.5 Mens, Womens and Mixed
- Sunday 12th October - Open Mens, Womens, and Mixed
Registration Desk opens from 7:15am each morning
Practice times: 7:15am to 8:15am each day, 4pm to 6pm Friday and Saturday evenings
Player Briefings – 8:15am each day, with the Mens and Women’s Doubles starting at 8:30am and the Mixed starting when the Mens and Women’s are completed, which should be around 12:30pm. All games are expected to be completed by around 4:30pm each day.
Medal presentations will be made once the finals are completed in each division.
The Kitchen will be open from 9:30 to 3:30 selling light snacks, hot and cold drinks, cakes, toasted sandwiches, etc
Rules
Balls will be Onix Fuse indoor yellow.
The top two teams from each pool will go through to the medal brackets, with the other teams going into a Plate Round Robin.
Standard Pickleball scoring with players calling faults on their side of the court. If in doubt, the ball was in.
Referees will be provided where available for finals and play/off games.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
There will be no refunds after Tuesday 7th October. If your partner is no longer able to play you will need to find another player to play in their spot.
