Mixed Doubles Begin @ 11:00 AM
Registration begins approximately 1 hour before the scheduled start time for each division.
Approximate start times will be released closer to the event weekend as divisions fill up.
***Participation in this event includes one registration bag and one t-shirt per registrant. If you sign up for your gender and the mixed tournament, you only receive one registration bag and one t-shirt.
Rules
Format: All divisions will start by competing in a pool play/round robin to determine seeding for a single-elimination style tournament.
Scoring Type: Rally
Definition: a point is awarded after every rally, regardless of which team served; essentially, whoever wins the rally wins the point, making the game faster-paced and more exciting as every play has the potential to score a point.
-Games will be played to 25, win by 2
-Players will remain on the side of the court that they start the game on.
-If your score is an even number when your team serves, the player on the right side will serve. If your score is an odd number when your team serves, the player on the left side will serve.
-Teammates can only switch sides after a timeout. Limited to 1 timeout per game.
Other Rules:
-1 timeout is permitted per game per team, limited to 1 minute.
-Pool Play is completely random. If there are not enough teams to separate into 2 different groups, one group will be formed to determine seeding for the single-elimination tournament.
-Players call their own out balls.
-We will be playing with the Franklin X-40 Pickleball.
-Scores need to be turned in and confirmed at the registration table IMMEDIATELY after your match.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Rain Date: August 29-31
Refund Policy:
-Refunds can be administered, minus a $15 administration fee, up to August 15, 2025.
-No refunds will be given between August 15, 2025, and the Tournament start date.
-This is an Outdoor tournament and refunds will NOT be given for weather-related cancellations.
-The tournament director reserves the right to change the format, shorten games, or make other changes to complete the event.
