Description
Please join us for the inaugural Pickle Bowl Moneyball Tournament @ The Pickleball Factory (1507 Independence St, Cape Girardeau, MO 63703).
This tournament will be a MLP style format, meaning your teams will consist of two men and two women. Entry fee is $75/person or $300/team.

Across all divisions:
1st Place: $600 2nd Place: $400 3rd Place: $200
(maximum prize payout based off a 6 team minimum per division on sign-ups)
OPEN Division: Prize pot may be bigger depending on club sponsors and sign up totals by registration close!
🏈 Uniform Contest 🏈
With the Super Bowl right around the corner Pro Football team names and uniforms are highly encouraged! Cheerleaders, Team name spoofs, and jersey wearers are all fair game. Bring out the Face paint! The team from each division with the best uniforms will receive a prize!
Additionally, there will be a raffle and product giveaways!
MLP Format:
Teams will consist of two men and two women. All teams must abide by DUPR maximum aggregates and individual player maximums per division.

Tentative Division Schedule:
Saturday: 12s, 14s, 14s 50+, 16s Sunday: 16s 50+, 18s, 18s 50+, and OPEN
(Specific times for each division will be revealed closer to tourney date)
Rules
Official Ball: FRANKLIN X-40
Divisions will be broken up into 2 pools of round robin play. 1 pool if 4 teams or less are signed up.
The games will be rally scoring to 21 win by 2. Each match between teams will consist of a women's doubles game then a men's doubles game, followed by two mixed doubles games. Whichever team has more wins after these 4 games will win the match. If there is a tie of 2-2, the teams will play a Dreambreaker where each team puts together a lineup of their four players. The first player from each team will play four singles points, then switch to the second player in the Dreambreaker lineup and so on. The teams will play singles to 21, rally scoring, win by 2. The winner of the Dreambreaker wins the match. If a team is up 3-0, you will still play the 4th game as it will contribute to point differential and wins that will determine seeding.
Once a team registers for the event, their ratings are “locked” and their DUPR increasing or decreasing will not impact the team’s aggregate or division placement. If you do not have a DUPR rating please confer with your team and assess your level accordingly. Please note that the tournament director may move your team into a higher or lower level depending on the number of entries received.
Substitute Players
A team that needs a player substitute can either edit their team by signing into Swish and making the edits themselves or a player may submit the player substitute information directly to the tournament organizer. Substitute player’s DUPR may not cause the established team’s aggregate to go over max event’s aggregate.
