Description
Join us for the Miramar Pickleball Slam at the brand-new SilverLakes Pickleball Courts! This one-day tournament promises spirited competition, lively community vibes, and plenty of pickleball fun.
We’ll feature Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles in two skill brackets: 3.5–3.99 and 4.0–4.49. Each bracket will play a Set Partner Pool Play format, guaranteeing multiple matches, with the top teams advancing to a Single Elimination Bracket to battle it out for medals.
Mixed Brackets: Start at ~8:30 AM
Men's Brackets: Start at ~10:30 AM
All matches will be played with Franklin X-40 pickleballs on our dedicated outdoor pickleball courts. Results will be uploaded directly to DUPR for official ratings. Prizes includes medals, shirts, and Sparrow pickleball bags.
This tournament isn’t just about competition—it’s about community. Hosted by the Miramar Pickleball Club, our mission is to bring people together through the sport. Expect a welcoming atmosphere, energetic music, and camaraderie both on and off the court. Swag and prizes await our champions, and plenty of good vibes are guaranteed.

Rules
Check‑in & Warm‑up: Check‑in opens 30 minutes before each bracket; warm‑up is limited to 5 minutes before your first match.
Equipment: We will supply Franklin X‑40 balls. Players must bring their own USA Pickleball‑approved paddles; no banned paddles allowed. Proper non‑marking court shoes are required.
Match Play: Pool‑play games are to 11 points (win by 1). In the medal rounds, games are to 15 points (win by 2). Switch sides at 6 (pool play) or 8 (medal rounds). Each team receives one 60‑second timeout per match.
Advancement & Seeding: Teams are guaranteed at least four pool matches. Standings are determined by win‑loss record, then point differential. The top teams advance to a single‑elimination bracket.
Sportsmanship & Conduct: USAP rules apply; unsportsmanlike conduct, paddle abuse or profanity may result in disqualification. Players should update their DUPR account and link it to Swish before the event.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Refund window: A full refund (minus service fees) is available until September 17, 2025 (the no‑refund date on the registration form). To cancel, contact [email protected] before this date.
After September 17: Entries become non‑refundable. No refunds or credits will be given for no‑shows, late arrivals or withdrawals after this deadline.
Weather & unforeseen events: This is an outdoor tournament. If weather or other factors force a postponement, we will make every effort to reschedule. Entry fees will transfer to the new date; if you cannot attend the rescheduled event, we will provide a credit toward a future Miramar Pickleball Club tournament. No cash refunds will be issued for weather‑related delays.
Late arrivals: Players arriving more than 15 minutes after their scheduled start time may forfeit their first match; after 30 minutes, they may be removed from the bracket without refund.
