Honcho Rotating-Partner Ladder League Overview
Honcho’s 8-week Rotating-Partner Ladder Leagues are built for individual players who want to connect, compete and improve—no teammate required. Each week, you’ll be placed in a group of four and play three games with/against that foursome, in rotating fashion. Your results determine your movement up or down the ladder, to ensure that weekly matches are evenly skilled, week over week. It’s the perfect way to meet new people, play balanced matchups, and elevate your game in a fun, dynamic format.
Season & Match Details
Season Length: 8 weeks total
Weekly Format:
- Each week, you’ll be grouped with three other players for a 1-hour match block.
- You’ll play three games, rotating partners each time so that everyone teams up once.
- Games are standard-scored to 11 (win by 2, cap at 15)—enough time to compete, connect, and get in a solid session.
Schedule:
- Match blocks happen on the same day and inside the general time block each week.
- Your exact start time may vary, week over week, to help balance court usage.
- You’ll receive your match details (time and court number) 2–5 days in advance of each weekly match.

Rules
How to Honcho - Simplified League Rules
- Player Conduct: Know the rules, respect everyone, and play fair. Remember, we're all here to have fun and compete.
- Player Substitutions - If you are unable to make a match during the regular season, PLEASE (we highly encourage) tap a sub to play in your place! Just be mindful that your sub is close to your same skill level! We also do not tolerate no-shows or last minute ghosting of matches, and operate off of a 2-strike policy (with potential fines implemented in order to protect league integrity), so please be respectful of your opponents and find a sub proactively, if absolutely needed, or leverage the form with advanced notice.
- Starting Off - Rock, paper, scissors decides who serves or picks the side. Swap sides and serve orders each game.
- Score Reporting: Foursomes are responsible for reporting their own match results each week in the Swish App, ASAP, if not for sure within 24 hours or Honcho will have to assume match results based off prior week seeding)
- Forfeits and No-Shows: If you can't make it, and do not have a sub, let us know ASAP WITH 2 DAY NOTICE (so we can try to support in finding you a sub, so to not affect the other schedule participants ability to play) and beware that forfeits affect your standing and playoff eligibility, so communicate early! Better than forfeiting, find like-skilled subs to fill your spot, so your opponents have someone to play that week!

- Refund & Cancellation
- Full Refund Window: You may cancel your registration at any time before the registration deadline to receive a 100% refund, minus the $5 processing fee.
- Post-Deadline: After the registration cut-off, no refunds will be issued for drop-outs or no-shows—no exceptions.
- Schedule & Venue Adjustments
Honcho reserves the right to modify match schedules, court assignments, or venue locations as necessary to ensure fair play and full participation. Such changes are rare and made only to maintain league quality.
