Format: Set Partner Pool Play + Single Elimination Bracket

Description
$50 per team for first event; $40 per team per event for all other events. Three games guaranteed.
Two locations:
Burgess Park: 200 S Parkway Drive, Alpine, UT 84004
Creekside Park: 100 South and 600 East, Alpine, UT 84004
Each location has four dedicated pickleball courts plus four tennis courts that will be converted to pickleball courts (each tennis court will contain only one pickleball court).
Start times are approximate during registration and will be finalized prior to the tournament depending on the number of participants.
The exact format will be dictated by attendance and is subject to change. Some levels or divisions may be combined (3.0 / 3.5) depending on attendance, but medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded for each level or division.

3.5 Senior Mixed: 8 am

3.0 Senior Mixed: 5 pm
Thursday, August 14
3.0 Senior Women (50+): start time between 8 am and noon
3.5 Senior Women (50+): start time between 8 am and noon
4.0 Senior Women (50+): start time between 2 pm and 5 pm
4.5+ Senior Women (50+): start time between 2 pm and 5 pm
3.0 Senior Men (50+): start time between 8 am and noon
3.5 Senior Men (50+): start time between 8 am and noon
4.0 Senior Men (50+): start time between 2 pm and 5 pm
4.5+ Senior Men (50+): start time between 2 pm and 5 pm

Rules
Franklin X-40 for Youth, Teen and all divisions under 4.0.
DuraFast for 4.0+.
Winning teams will be determined first by number of wins, and in case of a tie it will be the winner of the head-to-head competition, followed by the total number of points and point differential.
Events may be canceled due to weather; others may be played at a backup venue. Options depend on the number of participants, indoor court availability and timing. Rescheduling is not guaranteed.
This is not a sanctioned tournament but we follow USAPA rules. (https://usapickleball.org/what-is-pickleball/official-rules/).
Cancellation/Refund Policy
No refunds after July 31.
If the tournament gets rained out, your registration fee will be considered a donation to the Alpine Days Pickleball Fund (thank you – we do have some hard costs that need to be covered). Upon request, we will credit you $10 towards next year's tournament.
