Description
Please join us for North Fulton Community Charities - Play for Good - Play for Sheff - Pickleball Tournament on April 26 and 27. This tournament is held in partnership with the city of Alpharetta at North Park Tennis and Pickleball Center. All funds raised will support the mission of NFCC. The mission of NFCC is to help ease hardship and foster financial stability in our community. More information on our programs and services can be found at http://www.nfcchelp.org. This years tournament is dedicated to the memory of John Sheffield a long-time champion and supporter of NFCC. This family friendly tournament is for all ages and all skill levels. Rules
Scores will NOT be automictically uploaded to DUPR after the tournament. Division DUPR brackets are defined as follows: beginner and novice is 0.00-2.99, intermediate is 3.00-3.99 and advanced is 4.00 and over. To learn more about DUPR ratings please visit http://www.dupr.com. The tournament director reserves the right to combine brackets based on registration numbers.
Players are required to upload their scores into the Swish app after every match. It is highly recommended that you download the Swish ap and create a profile after purchasing tournament tickets.
The tournament will kick off with beginners clinic at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning followed by an intermediate clinic at 10 a.m. Rotating Women's and Men's Doubles will follow beginners clinic on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. Women's Fixed Doubles will play Saturday starting at noon. Men's Fixed Doubles will play Sunday morning starting at 9 a.m. Mixed Fixed Doubles will play Sunday starting at noon. Exact match timing and rotating doubles partners will be uploaded into the Swish ap and emailed to players when registration closes on 4/21/25. NFCC will provide Franklin X Balls for tournament play.
Players are encouraged to play in more than one division if their schedule allows. Price for the first division per player is $45, second division is $35 and third division is $25.
In order to further our fundraising efforts, your ticket purchase will include a $5 administration fee per division at check out to cover event costs. The tournament will include a silent auction raffle and 50/50 raffle to benefit NFCC. A concession stand will be available for drinks and light snacks. Vendors will be on-site. Spectators and families welcome.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Registration will close on 4/22/25. No refunds will be issued after 4/23/25. Final match timing and rotating doubles partners will be published in the app and emailed to all players by 4/23/25.
