Description
The gender double divisions consist of the combined DUPR ratings of the playing partners (male & Male or female & female).
EXAMPLES:
* If player number 1 has a DUPR rating of 3.226 and player number 2 has a DUPR rating of 3.512 your combined rating is 6.737. Your division is 7.0 and under.
** If player number 1 has a DUPR rating of 4.226 and player number 2 has a DUPR rating of 4.51 your combined rating is 8.736. Your division is 8.0 and over.

FOR 6.0 AND UNDER - MAX DUPR RATING OF ANY PARTICIPANT IS 3.0 (Start time 8am)
FOR 7.0 AND UNDER - MAX DUPR RATING OF ANY PARTICIPANT IS 3.6 (Start time 8am)
FOR 8.0 AND ABOVE- THERE IS NO MINIMUM OR MAX DUPR RATING FOR THIS EVENT (Start time 8am)

- Entry Fee: 40.00/player. $30.00 for 2025 Focus Pickleball Belvedere members
- All Events will be round robin format first to 11 (win by 2 points).
- Playoff round first to 15 (win by 2 points).
- Finals matches for Gold/Silver and Bronze first to 15 (win by 2 points).
- Players are guaranteed three games.
- Prizes will be awarded to gold, silver and bronze for each event.
- Best dressed team
- Free Sausage Sizzle for all players.
Rules
Once a doubles team registers for the Australia Day Slam event, their ratings are “locked” and their DUPR increasing or decreasing will not impact the team’s aggregate or division placement.
To sign up for the Australia Day Slam, a DUPR account is required.
What's DUPR?
DUPR is an International Pickleball rating system that tracks player's ratings. With each game entered in DUPR, player's ratings are adjusted based on the score of the game and ratings of the opponents they were playing.
Creating your DUPR account
You will need to setup your DUPR account that is linked to Focus Pickleball (it's free to setup)
1. Download and install the DUPR app on your phone and create your free DUPR account.
2. Tap link to join Focus Pickleball on DUPR.

Not rated players can play; however, their estimated rating will be verified by the tournament director.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Refunds will be provided no questions asked up to the close of registration (minus Stripe fees).
After registration closes provision of medical certificate will ensure a full refund minus the transaction and service charges.
General withdrawal after the close of registration will result in a $20 administration fee being retained by Focus Pickleball.
Once draws and times are published (3 days prior to tournament commencing), NO refund will be given, except when a medical certificate can be provided.
