Marina Racquet Club Pickleball Tournament Rules

Divisions
- Men's 3.0+
- Ladies' 3.0+

Match Format
- Scoring: All matches will use rally scoring to 11 points, win by 2. Games are best of 3 unless otherwise stated.
- Serve Rotation: Each team will have two serves per turn. Both teammates serve before the serve changes to the opposing team.
- Timeouts: Each team is allowed one 1-minute timeout per game.

Court Etiquette
- Start of Play: A coin toss or paddle spin determines which team serves first. Teams may choose to serve, receive, or pick their starting side.
- Line Calls: Players are responsible for making calls on their own side of the court. Any disputes will be resolved by the tournament official.
- Sportsmanship: Respectful conduct is expected at all times. Any form of unsportsmanlike behavior may result in a warning or disqualification.

Tournament Progression
- Elimination Format: The tournament is double-elimination, meaning each team must lose twice to be eliminated.
- Time Limits: Matches may have time limits depending on the number of entries. If a match is not completed within the allotted time, the team leading at that point wins.

Equipment & Attire
- Paddles: Players must use approved paddles; check with officials if unsure.
- Balls: Tournament balls are provided by Marina Racquet Club and must be used in all matches.
- Attire: Athletic wear and non-marking court shoes are required.

Safety & Injuries
- Injury Timeouts: Each player is allowed one 3-minute injury timeout per match. Serious injuries may result in a match default for the injured player.
- Medical Assistance: On-site assistance is available if needed.

Tournament Officials
- Referees: Referees are on hand for guidance, rules clarifications, and resolving disputes.
- Score Reporting: Winning teams must report scores to the tournament desk immediately after each match.
