Format: Set Partner Round Robin, Rotating Partner Round Robin

Description
This is an automated tournament run on the SWISH App. Players are required to have the SWISH App uploaded to their phone.
Important: ALL players who register are required to have an email address and DUPR number. For the team Round Robin competition, the player who registers the team must have email addresses and DUPR numbers for BOTH players. Registration without this information may delay your entry.
• Cost is $90/team for Round Robin competition.
• Cost is $45/person for Mixed Scramble (No partner required)
• Cost is $45/person for Men’s Singles
• PLEASE check your DUPR rating prior to registering for tournament. DUPR ratings, as well as results in previous tournaments (VCPC/CRPD, & other local tournaments), will help determine the minimum level you must play. Teams must register for highest skill level that either player holds and teams may play up but not down. Tournament Director reserves the right to modify player levels.
DIVISIONS:
• Saturday: Men’s Doubles: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+ (NEW!) (Schedule TBA)
• Saturday: Women’s Doubles: 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0+ (Schedule TBA)
• Sunday: Mixed Doubles 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0+ (Schedule TBA)
• Sunday: NEW! 2.5 Mixed Beginner Doubles Scramble - No partner needed! (Schedule TBA)
• Sunday: Men’s Singles (Schedule TBA).
• Senior players will have their own division when numbers allow.
• VCPC will group teams by age in each division and split into groups of 7 or 8 teams each. VCPC reserves the right to adjust grouping by age as needed.
OTHER TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
• 10 outdoor courts (6 dedicated and 4 multi-use courts)

• Medals awarded to the top three places in each division

• Players looking for partners (except for Mixed Scramble), may send email to: [email protected] with Name, Age, DUPR ID & Rating, email and phone number, and bracket you want to play in: Women’s, Men’s or Mixed Doubles, 3.0, 3.5, etc.
• If your division is full and would like to be added to a waiting list, please send an email to [email protected] with the following information for BOTH players: names, ages, DUPR IDs & Ratings, emails and phone numbers, and bracket you want to play in: Women’s, Men’s or Mixed Doubles, 3.0, 3.5, etc.
Rules
• Tournament Rules: Official USA Pickleball 2024 Rulebook
• As of the day of the tournament, only paddles on USA Pickleball’s approved list may be used in the tournament. For a full list of approved paddles, visit www.equipment.usapickleball.org
• Tournament Ball: Franklin X40
• Dress Code: USAP Rules, Shirts and Shoes Required and Costumes Encouraged!
• Agreement, Waiver and Release (Waiver): Please review waiver under the Photos tab on this website. When you register for the tournament, you are acknowledging to the terms and conditions of the Waiver. You will also be required to sign the Waiver at the Registration Desk.
Prior to the tournament, please complete the following:
1. If you are not already in DUPR, then go to DUPR at www.mydupr.com and register for free..
2. You will be given an ID#. Write it down and note DUPR Rating or if NR (Not Rated), along with your DUPR password, and log out of DUPR.
3. In DUPR, request to be added to the Ventura County Pickleball Club - Click on Clubs on the left of screen, search for VCPC, JOIN CLUB.
4. Next, go to your app store and download the SWISH Sports app.
5. Register (FREE) and then in the SWISH App on your phone, click on "profile" in the bottom right-hand corner, there you will be able to LINK YOUR DUPR - This will take your directly to DUPR and will link automatically once you sign in.
6. Once you scan in on the day of the tournament, you will then be ready for the tournament!
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellations/Changes - Please make any changes to partners or cancellations directly through My Tournaments at Swishtournaments.com. If you need to change partners or withdraw after registration has closed, please email the tournament director at [email protected].
Refunds - Will be given until Friday, October 18, 2024 at 11:59 pm.
ALL REFUNDS WILL BE LESS $5.00 SWISH PROCESSING FEE & $3.00 BANK FEES.
NOTE: Cancellation of tournament due to Weather will result in refunds to all players less $5.00 Swish processing fee & $3.00 Bank Fees.
