Format: Team Pickleball
Price: $10.00 / Player (must register and pay as a team)
Description
7:30 am check-in and warm up, 8 am start. We predict that all matches will be completed by 12:30
Each team will play 1 match (4 games) against the other 3 teams in their division.
Rules
* Teams of 4: 2 male and 2 female players.
* ALL players, even subs, must be current KBPA members,and have the Swish and Dupr apps
* Teams combined Dupr ratings will not be over the division number more than 0.3,
ex: 14 division max is 14.3 - 16 division max is 16.3 – 18 div max is 18.3
* Coin Toss choices:
- HOME or AWAY: Away Team (announces MxD setup FIRST) and Home team reacts to that.
- Start serving or receiving for EACH GAME
- Choose which end/side of the court to start on
* Be sure to note on the Swish app who won the coin toss and their choice.
* Play games to 25, win by 2. Can only win on your serve.
* One (1 min) time out per team/per game.
* Players will change ends when one team reaches 13 and will NOT change ends until the next MID-
GAME.1 min to switch
*Each of 4 games is worth one point: women’s doubles, men’s doubles, two mixed doubles
* If both teams are tied 2-2 after all four games, a MX Doubles TieBreaker will ensue. Play to
21, win by 2, switch MX teams every 4 plays, switch ends at 11.
* TieBreaker will be played as MXDoubles, unless both teams agree on singles. The app
assumes we are playing singles. Just put the players in, doesn’t matter for dupr.
*ALL matches and games must be recorded on the Swish app.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
A full refund, minus the $5 registration fee will be issued if cancelled before 8/19/2024.
